sasha barr

i was introduced to sasha barr's work over on pikaland (the *best* illustration blog around!), when amy posted a photo of his octopus pillow below, and once i clicked over to his site i was immediately hooked. isn't his work fantastic? i love that pineapple hat. as someone who also likes to draw people with things on their head, this is just perfect to me. :)

and here is the pillow mentioned above, along with my other favorite- the 'rainy ghosts pillow.'

and if i needed another tote bag in my life, this is definitely the one i would choose.

my birthday is coming up though, so maybe i'll choose something from sasha's intriguing etsy shop (called wonder thunder--- best.name.ever) anyway!
