irina troitskaya

these matreshkas byrussian artist irina troitskaya are making me crazy with glee! i would do just about anything to have these sitting on my mantle so i could admire them each and every day.

they're just too cute for any more words! see for yourself.

it turns out that irina is also a crazy-talented illustrator-- i love looking at drawings with words in languages i can't read. (seems like i'm interested in languages today.... hmmm....)

and her color palettes are perfection. new favorite artist for today? indeed.

more of irina's work: on her website, her blog, and her flickr.
