new painting: 'little precious moment'

i have another painting to show this morning, which is sort-of along the lines of this painting.
i'm nuts for that magenta color these days, and i really love it with pale green... i have a feeling that combo will be appearing more often these days.

Lovely--makes me miss my hubby who is _always_ at work these days (financing my craft habit, and--oh yeah--rent, groceries, etc.).

OK - THIS is DEFINITELY my favorite piece you've done. I swear! I know I have a lot of favorites, but this is my favorite of the favorites. It's so pretty, and romantic. It would be gorgeous on an engagement announcement, or a wedding invitation. Oh, I am so in love with it, Jess! It's GORGEOUS!

I really like this - the longer I look at it the more I notice little things that seem to build up this whole scene in my head. It has a really nice feel to it.

this is marvelous!! i love the little dotted lines heading out into the distance; it makes me wonder what they're headed toward, what they're thinking about or planning to do.

Cripes I LOVE THIS! The scallops in the shadowing, the thought in the same direction, the print overlaid across the middle of the artwork - L.O.V.E . I.T . J.E.S.S!
