holly mae pendergast
these figure studies by holly mae pendergast struck me while checking out the kayo gallery site.
i love how they look together-- the combination of colors is really beautiful. i love the moodiness of the pieces. i feel like there is a story behind each person-- something not every figurative artist can capture.
you can see much, much more of holly's work on her website and at kayo gallery in salt lake city, utah.

Hello, Jess. Sorry, but my english is not good. I'd remember a coment on CrustStation's blog... Recently, I came back on he's blog and read again... You said something about my work "looks like her images should be illustrations in children’s books. i love them. :)"
I want to tank you: I'm an illustrator and my draws are almost always :) for children's book.
This works are special, I like them!
Had a nice day, night, week.
I forgot... tank for sharing them (the works)! I did't know this artist.
