if i lived in my dream house, a wall in my bathroom would be covered in these micro tiles by heather knight of element clay studio in asheville, nc.
i have a soft spot in my heart for all things ceramic, and these have just moved to the top of my list. they are so gooooorgeous and exciting!
i also love these sculptural forms:

**speaking of asheville, i think ryan and i are going to be visiting sometime in june, and i'd love some tips on things not to be missed! any suggestions?

I've never been to Asheville, but have known a few people to move there and they all LOVE it. Have fun.
yeah, i've never heard anything but great things about asheville. an old friend of mine from high school that i haven't talked to in, like, 5 years just emailed me, and i found out HE lives in asheville! serendipity-- don't you love it??
these are gorgeous! such a treat for the senses.
i've never been to asheville, but have some great friends who live there. apparently, there is a pizza joint that is not to be missed and our friends have a restaurant called Ophelia's where they serve organic-free range foods.
