a finished commission + yay for friday!
goodness, is anyone else really glad that it's friday? this has been quite the week! it's felt extra long, i think, since i was at ICE all last weekend, so i didn't have a chance to relax much. needless to say, there'll be some relaxing happening this weekend!
this is a shot of a commissioned painting i just finished-- it's going in the room of these two sweet little boys, who are obsessed with cars! i've never really painted a boyish painting before, soit was a fun challenge.

i am so happy you are a full time artist so you can get that wonderful stuff out of your head so often into a tangible form for the rest of us to enjoy! your paintings look like they take months to complete, but lucky for us they don't. love this one, jess. have a great weekend!

That's wonderful. Love the cars. I'm sure this will be a piece that they will treasure their whole lives. And you know they will fight over who gets to keep it when they move out on their own.
